Privacy Policy
Effective date: October [day], 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Orlando Autonomous Mobility ("OAM," "we," "us"), operated by [Legal entity name, e.g. OAM LLC], collects, uses, and protects information when you visit oamfleet.com or apply to rent a vehicle from us. OAM is based in Orlando, Florida, and rents Teslas by the week to independent, full-time Uber drivers.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you apply to rent a vehicle through our website, we collect:
- Your full name, phone number, and email address
- Your years of licensed driving and your current Uber driver rating
- Your confirmation that your information is accurate and your consent to a background check and driving-record check
If we follow up on your application, we may ask for more, such as a screenshot of your Uber driver profile, your driver's license, and proof of the documents needed to rent a vehicle. You may also give us information when you email us, call us, or book a call.
Information collected automatically. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on this site. Our hosting provider (Netlify) may keep basic technical logs, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to run and secure the site. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google.
Booking a call. Our "Book a call" links open a Google Calendar booking page. Information you enter there, such as your name and email, is collected through Google and shared with us so we can hold the call. Google's own privacy policy applies to that page.
2. How we use your information
- To review your application and decide whether to offer you a vehicle rental
- To verify your identity, driving history, and eligibility, including through background and driving-record checks you authorize
- To contact you about your application, a scheduled call, or a rental
- To prepare and manage a rental agreement if you are approved
- To obtain and maintain insurance for our vehicles
- To protect our vehicles, business, and the public, and to meet legal requirements
3. Background and driving-record checks
Checking the box on our application tells us you are open to a check. It is not, by itself, the authorization the law requires. Before we request a background check or driving-record report about you:
- We will give you a clear written disclosure, in a separate document, that a consumer report may be obtained.
- We will get your separate written authorization.
- The report will come from a consumer reporting agency, [Background check vendor name], which follows the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and applicable Florida law.
If we decide not to rent to you, in whole or in part, because of something in a report, we will send you a notice before making a final decision, with a copy of the report and a summary of your rights under the FCRA. After a final decision, we will send an adverse-action notice that names the consumer reporting agency, explains that the agency did not make the decision, and tells you how to get a free copy of your report and dispute anything inaccurate.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only as needed with:
- Service providers that help us run the site and our business, such as Netlify (website hosting and form handling) and Google (email, calendar, and documents)
- Our background check provider, to run the checks you authorize
- Insurance companies and brokers, to insure our vehicles and handle claims
- Law enforcement, courts, or government agencies, when the law requires it or to respond to valid legal process
- Others when needed to protect our rights, property, or safety or someone else's, such as in a theft, accident, or toll and traffic violation matter, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business
5. How long we keep information
We keep application information for as long as we need it to review your application and for [retention period, e.g. 2 years] afterward, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. If you rent from us, we keep rental records for the life of the rental and for as long as needed for taxes, insurance, claims, and legal requirements. Background reports are kept securely and disposed of properly when no longer needed.
6. How we protect information
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including access limited to people who need it, secure password-protected accounts, and encrypted connections (HTTPS) on this site. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Florida residents
We follow the Florida Information Protection Act of 2014 (Section 501.171, Florida Statutes). If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires, generally within 30 days after we determine a breach occurred. Where required, we will also notify the Florida Department of Legal Affairs and consumer reporting agencies.
8. Your choices
You may ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your application, by contacting us below. We may need to keep some information when the law requires it or to resolve disputes.
9. Children
This site and our rentals are for adults only. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Links to other sites
Our site links to services we do not control, such as Google Calendar and Uber. Their privacy policies apply when you use them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the effective date above.
